The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible consists of sixty-six books, beginning at the Genesis and ending in Revelation, and is the final and inerrant revelation of the mind of God to man; that the Bible, as originally written, was verbally and plenarily inspired by God and is the product of Spirit controlled men, who wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. We further hold that the Bible has been preserved and superintended by the sovereign hand of God since its authorship, so that we have the Word of God. We further believe that the Bible is the center of all truth and the only standard by which all conduct, creeds, and opinions should be examined The Bible is the final Word on all matters including doctrine, church polity and discipline. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:19-21; Psalm 119:4; Prov. 30:5; Deut. 4:2; Rev.22:18-19).
The True God
We believe that there is one living and true God, the Creator, Sustainer, and Supreme ruler of heaven and earth; He is infinite in His holiness, worthy of all honor, confidence and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are equal in essence, attributes and perfection, and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. (Ex. 20:2-3; I Cor. 8:6; Matt. 28:19-20; Rev. 4:11; I John 5:7; 2 Cor. 13:14).
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is both the Son of God and God the Son; that He is equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit in all aspects of His character, attributes, essence, and being; that He is fully God and eternal in nature with God the Father; that He has no beginning nor end of days, and that He is the One and only Savior of the world. (John 1:1, 14; 5:17-18; 8:58; 10:33-34; Tit. 2:13; Matt. 1:23: Isaiah 7:14).
The Creation
We believe the Bible to be the final authority on the Creation of the world, the universe and man; that God created the world by His spoken Word in six literal twenty-four hour days; that man was created from the dust of the earth, and that God breathed into Adam (the first man on earth) the breath of life; that Eve (the first woman) was created from Adam's rib, and that Adam and Eve were the first parents; that we are all descendants of Adam and Eve (Gen. 1-2; Heb. 11:3; Col. 1:16-18).
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, has personality and is equal in His essence and attributes with God the Father and God the Son; that He is eternal in His nature and qualities; that He was active in the creation; that in relation to the unbelieving world, He restrains Satan until God's purpose is fulfilled; He convicts of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; He is the agent in the new birth; He seals, endures with power, guides, teaches, convicts, and sanctifies the believer forever; the gifts of tongues and healing were "sign gifts" until the Scriptures were completed. The sign gifts ceased at that time. (John 14:16, 26: 16:8-11; 3:5-6; 1:33; Matt, 28:19; Heb. 9:14; Luke 1:35; 24:49; Rom. 8:14; 8:16; 8:26-27; Acts 5:30-32; 11:16; Gen. 1:1-3; Eph. 1:13-14; I Cor. 13:8-10; Heb. 2:4).
The Fall of Man
We believe that Adam,, as the head of the human race, was created in innocence by God and placed in the literal Garden of Eden; that Adam chose to disobey God and voluntarily transgressed God's direct command and "fell' from his sinless and innocent condition; that as a consequence of Adam's sin all men have sinned; that all men are born into sin, and sin by personal choice; that all mankind is condemned before God and is without defense or excuse before his Creator (Gen. 3:1-6; Rom. 1:18-19; 5:12, 19).
The Virgin Birth of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit of God in a miraculous manner; that Mary was a virgin at the time of conception of Jesus, having had no physical relationship with any man until after the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ; that the miraculous manner of this conception and birth resulted in the unique sinless nature of Christ, the Son of God. This incarnation of the Son of God further shows his humanity (yet without sin) and His impeccable character (Gen. 3:15; Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; Jn. 1:4).
The Resurrection of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus rose bodily from the dead out of the tomb on the third day after His death at Calvary, (being the first day of the week); that He appeared alive before many people and His disciples for forty days; that He bodily ascended into Heaven as our perfect and reliable High Priest; that He is seated at the right hand of the Father ever living to make intercession for us. He is our Advocate for eternity and will be coronated as King of kings after the fulfillment of His Word. (Jn. 20:17-28; I Cor. 15:1-17; Matt 28:6).
The Atonement For Sin
We believe that Christ, as God, freely took upon Himself the form of man, but thought it not robbery to be equal with God, and was obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross; that at the end Cross of Calvary He personally and freely shed His blood as the Lamb of god to make a one time, perfect and vicarious payment for the sin of the whole world; that His death was not as a martyr, but as the Lamb of God, without spot or blemish, the just dying for the unjust; that Christ substituted Himself as a sacrifice in the sinner's place and that all the sin and iniquity of mankind was laid upon Him. Phil. 2:5-8; John 1:29, 36; 3:16; Isa. 53:5-6; I John 2:2; Heb. 2:14; 10:10-14; 9:15, 22; I Peter 1:18-20; Rom, 3:23-25).
Repentance
We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition of salvation. Repentance is a change of mind and purpose toward God prompted by the Holy Spirit and is an integral part of saving faith. (Jonah 2:9; Eph. 2:8; Acts 15:11; Rom. 3:24-25; John 3:16; Matt. 18:11; Phil. 2:7-8; Heb 2:14-17).
Justification
We believe that justification is the act of God by which He declares the sinner "not guilty" and reckons the sinner righteous because of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior; that in being justified the sinner is reckoned (declared) righteous by God's grace and not by any merit of man (Acts 13:39; Isa. 53:11, Rom. 5:9; 8:1-2; Gal. 2:16-17).
Grace in the New Birth
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, and that it is wholly of the grace of God; that a sinner must be "born again" by the Spirit of God to inherit eternal life. We further believe that the "new birth" is not a process, but instantaneous and permanent (one time event); that in the new birth the sinner, who was dead in trespasses and sin, is made alive by the gracious work of God on his behalf; that the new birth makes the believer a new creation in Christ Jesus, allowing the sinner to be made a partaker of Christ's divine nature; that the sinner is born again only after personally believing in the Gospel (death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ) (Eph. 2:1-4; John 3:3-8; Cor. 5:17; I Pet. 1:23-25; I Cor. 15:1-4).
The Local Church
We believe that the local church is a body of believers who have been baptized by immersion in water, and who meet together on a regular basis for the fellowship of the Gospel, to observe the ordinances of Christian Baptism and the Lord's Supper, to worship the Lord, to exercise the use of biblical spiritual gifts (excluding all temporary gifts) for the purpose of edification, to promote the evangelism of the lost in the community and financially support the work of missions around the world. We further believe that the offices of the local church are Pastors and Deacons, that the local church is strictly autonomous (under the headship of Christ) from all organizations, conferences and hierarchies or individuals; that it is scriptural for churches of like faith and practice to fellowship together and to cooperate with each other in contending for the faith and for the furtherance of the Gospel; that the measure of this cooperation is to be based upon biblical principles of separation; that in all matters of membership, polity, discipline, benevolence and cooperation, the will of the local church is final (Acts 2:41-42; 20:17-28; 15:13-18; I Cor. 11:2; Eph. 1:22-23; 4:11; 5:23-24; Col. 1:18; I Tim. 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9; Heb. 10:23).
Church Ordinances
We believe that christian baptism is the immersion of , the believer in water as a Christian testimony as to his faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ; that water baptism pictures the believer's new resurrection life; that baptism is required before membership is the New Testament local church. We further believe that the Lord's Supper is a time of personal examination and remembrance of the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; that baptized believers in Christ as Savior are to partake of the Lord's Supper regularly until the Lord Comes for the Church (Acts 2:41; 8:26-39; John 3:23; Rom. 6:3-5; Matt. 3:16; Col. 2:12; I Cor. 11:23-28).
The Security of the Saints and Sanctification
We believe every sinner who trusts the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior is sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, and permanently indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God; that when a person comes to Christ, believing in the Gospel, he is born again for eternity. We further believe that once a person has been regenerated he can never lose his salvation, because salvation is based upon the perfect work of Christ not the imperfect work of man (Eph. 1:13; 2:8-9; Phil. 1:6; Jn. 10:28-30; Rom. 8:35-39; I Pet. 1:4; Heb. 7:25; 10:10-14; 13:5).
We believe that sanctification is the divine setting apart of the believer unto God accomplished in threefold manner; first, an eternal act of God, based upon redemption in Christ, establishing the believer in a position of holiness at the moment he trusts the Savior; second a continuing process in the saint as the Holy Spirit applies the Word of God to the life; third, the final accomplishment of this process at the Lord's return (Heb. 10-14; 3:1; John 17:17; 2 Cor. 3:18; I Cor. 1:30; Eph. 5:25-27; I Thess. 4:3-4; 5:23-24; I John 3:2; Jude 24; Rev. 22:11).
The Devil, or Satan
We believe in the personality of Satan, that he is the unholy god of this age, the leader of all the powers of darkness, and is destined to the eternal justice of the Lake of Fire with his unholy angels and demons (Matt. 4:1-3; @ Cor. 4:4; Rev. 20:10).
The Righteous and the Wicked
We believe that there is a radical and essential difference between the righteous and the wicked: that those who have been redeemed by the blood of Christ are justified by the work of Christ, sanctified by the Holy Spirit, are truly declared righteous through the work of God, and will inherit the promise of eternal inheritance in heaven; that those who have never trusted Christ as Savior will undergo conscious suffering for eternity in the Lake of Fire (Gen. 18:23, Rom. 6:17-18, 7:6; 6:23; I John 5:19; Prov. 14:32; Luke 6:25; Matt. 25:34-41).
Biblical Separation
We believe that every believer should personally walk cirumspectly and live holy before the Lord in this wicked world, personally separate from sin and the appearance of sin, living a life of holiness; that the church should separate ecclesiastically from any form of apostasy, modernism, ecumenical theology and philosophy, neo-evangelicalism, and withdraw themselves from every organization which does not hold to biblical separation in the areas of doctrine and ethics (Amos 3:3; 2 Cor. 6:1-17; Acts 5:20, 29; Rom. 16:17; I Thess. 5:22; 2 Thess. 3:6; I Tim. 6:5; 2 Tim. 2:19; Psalm 119:115; Prov. 3:7).
Rapture and Subsequent Events
We believe in the imminent, pre-tribulation return of Christ for His Church, and that at that moment the dead in Christ shall be raised in glorified bodies, and the living in Christ shall be given glorified bodies without experiencing physical death, and all shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air before the seventieth week of Daniel. We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Christ to earth to set up His 1000 year reign (1 Thess. 5:1-10; 4:13-18; I Cor. 15:42-44; 51-54; Phil 3:20-21; Rev. 3:10; 4:1; 19:11-14).
Israel
We believe in the sovereign selection of Israel as God's eternal covenant people, that she is now dispersed because of disobedience and rejection of Christ, and that she will be regathered in the Holy Land, and, after the completion of the Church, will be saved as a nation at the second advent of Christ (Gen. 13:14-17; Rom. 11:1-32; Ezel. 37).
